About The Berkeley Guest House

The Berkeley Guest House is a family run family friendly guesthouse which strives to make your stay as comfortable, enjoyable and stress free as possible. Be it a one night business trip to a three week holiday, we will do everything we can to ensure you will not go home disappointed.

All twelve rooms at The Berkeley Guest House are en-suite with electric showers and the rooms are all centrally heated for your personal comfort. There are also colour T.V.'s and coffee making facilities in each room. Family rooms are equipped with T.V./DVD combi's. The Sunset Suite boasts a four poster bed and large bay window overlooking the sea.

The breakfast room is situated on the lower ground floor where you can ensure your breakfast will be freshly cooked using only local produce be it full English or eggs done anyway. Restricted diets catered for if requested when booking.

After breakfast the room transforms into the bar which serves a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and nibbles throughout the day and evening at very competitive prices.

Bar games of all description are available for your use from an original shove halfpenny board to the more modern Wii console.

On the ground floor you will find the residents lounge where you can get away from the hustle and bustle. You can watch T.V. or a DVD, select a book to read or just sit in the large bay window and watch some of the loveliest sunsets to be found in the UK. If you are feeling more energetic you could play a game of pool, table tennis or darts on our multi-functional table. Mal or Thomas are always up for a challenge!

We all go away and forget some essentials so we have a stock of toothpaste and brushes, shoe shine kits and sewing kits available.

Hair drier and ironing board and iron are available if required.

As we are by the seaside, we also have a small selection of beach toys available for the kids. Buckets, spades and fishing nets of course and maybe we could find a ball or two.
